Breaking down Reshad Jones' $30.8 million deal

Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones' $30.81 million contract extension includes a $5 million signing bonus and a total of $15 million in guaranteed money.

HIs $630,000 base salary for 2013 is fully guaranteed for skill, injury and cap. He has a $1.67 million salary-cap figure for 2013.

In 2014, Jones is due a $2.61 million base salary fully guaranteed with a salary-cap figure of $3.61 million.

In 2015, he's due a $6.76 million base salary fully guaranteed with a salary-cap figure of $7.76 million.

In 2016, Jones is due a $7.225 million base salary that's not guaranteed with a salary-cap figure of $8.25 million.

In 2017, Jones is due a $7.085 million base salary that's not guaranteed with a salary-cap figure of $8.085 million.

In the final two seasons of the deal, Jones has a $25,000 workout bonus each year.
