Colts not trading for receiver

The Indianapolis Colts don't plan on trading for a wide receiver after losing Reggie Wayne for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

"We're standing pat," Colts coach Chuck Pagano told Indianapolis reporters.

Pagano acknowledged uncertainty for the identity of the third wide receiver, though.

“I don’t know,” Pagano said. “Who would you classify as our third receiver? Shake them up, pull them out of the hat. Someone has got to emerge in the next three days.”

It could be LaVon Brazill or Griff Whalen behind T.Y. Hilton and Darius Heyward-Bey.

“I feel good about them,” Pagano said “Feel like they’ll all step up. They have to. They don’t have a choice.”
