Doug Martin announces he's been cleared

Buccaneers running back Doug Martin received the news he was hoping for on Monday.

Martin was cleared to resume full activities after injuring his shoulder against the Falcons in Week 7 of the 2013 season. The Tampa Bay running back sustained a torn labrum in his shoulder.

He tweeted the news after receiving clearance.

"CLEARED!!!! Excited to be back y'all!!" he wrote on his personal twitter account.

After a dominating rookie season that saw Martin run for 1,454 yards and 11 touchdowns, he was only able to run for 456 yards and one score in six games this past season.
