The Super Bowl XLVI MVP quarterback has weighed in on the quarterback that got the bulk of the attention during Super Bowl week.

Eli Manning made an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” Monday night and the Indiana native Letterman asked Manning about the quarterback from the Indiana football team – Peyton Manning.

“Everything’s good to go,” Eli Manning said of his brother, according to the New York Daily News.

“He got a good report from his doctor, said, ‘Hey, you know, if you were my own son, I’d give you the okay to play,’ and so he’ll be ready,” Eli continued. “He’s healthy, now it’s just about getting to 100% where he can physically make all the throws.

“He’s doing well. He’s rehabbing. He was in good spirits all weekend, got to be with him a little bit, and, you know, he’s just trying to get 100 percent. He wants to play football – and I think he will.”

Now that the Super Bowl is in the books, the focus will once again be on Peyton Manning as we wait to see what kind of resolution he finds with Colts owner Jim Irsay. Will Peyton Manning stay or will he go? He needs to win another Super Bowl MVP award to match his brother Eli now.
