FSU RB Devonta Freeman worked out for Patriots, Dolphins, Falcons; visited Vikings, Dolphins
Florida State running back Devonta Freeman worked out for the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons and visited the Minnesota Vikings and Dolphins, according to a league source.
Freeman also had dinner with the Pittsburgh Steelers surrounding his Pro Day workout.
Freeman is regarded as a rising draft prospect.
Freeman rushed for 1,016 yards last season for the Seminoles' national championship squad on 173 carries, scoring 15 touchdowns with a career-high 22 receptions for 278 receiving yards.
He was the first Seminoles running back since Warrick Dunn to rush for over 1,000 yards.
Freeman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds at the NFL scouting combine.
An All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection, Freeman is expected to go anywhere from the second round to the fourth round.
