Falcons work out fullback Greg Jones

The Atlanta Falcons worked out veteran fullback Greg Jones on Tuesday, according to a league source.

Jones, 32, wasn't immediately signed to a contract.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound former Jacksonville Jaguars second-round draft pick started five games last season and played in every game for the Houston Texans.

Entering his 11th NFL season, Jones, a former Florida State standout, has rushed for 913 career yards and 10 touchdowns.

He's caught 73 passes for 471 yards and three touchdowns.
