Interest growing for LSU WR Kadron Boone

Ever since his campus Pro Day workout, interest has been building in LSU wide receiver Kadron Boone.

Boone has been getting calls from several NFL teams since the workout where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds. That includes the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders, according to a league source.

Boone is regarded as a late-round draft target.

Boone finished his career with 44 catches for 611 yards and eight touchdowns in 51 games with 11 starts.

Last season, he caught seven passes for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He worked in reserve behind standout wide receivers Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry.

As a junior, he caught 26 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns as he started seven of 13 games.

Boone was a high school All-American in Ocala. Fla, who caught 51 passes for 1,287 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior with 53 catches for 931 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior.
