Jordy Nelson has knee surgery, Randall Cobb hurts biceps
The Green Bay Packers usually have an enviable wide receiver situation, emphasis on the word, usually.
Not this week, though.
Following an offseason where they lost Greg Jennings via free agency to the Minnesota Vikings, veteran wide receiver Jordy Nelson just underwent knee surgery and is out for the remainder of training camp. The Packers hope he can play in the season-opener.
Plus, wide receiver Randall Cobb didn't finish practice due to a biceps injury.
The Packers no longer have ultra-reliable receiver Donald Driver on the roster after he retired this offseason.
