NFL will investigate Favre following Deadspin reports

The NFL has announced it will investigate whether Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre violated the league’s personal conduct policy as a member of the New York Jets in 2008.

Deadspin produced alleged voice mails Favre left for Jenn Sterger, then a sideline reporter working for the Jets. The Web site also published photos of a man’s privates – ones Deadspin claims Favre sent to Sterger via text message.

Favre declined to discuss the matter at his press conference on Thursday.

“I'm not getting into that,” he said. “I've got my hands full with the Jets.”
