Intriguing prospect has great size, runs well Brad Biggs
The Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans combined to put Baylor cornerback Antareis Bryan through a private workout today.
Bryan, who was limited during his senior season with a hamstring, injury ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds, according to his agent Albert Elias. Bryan also had a 39-inch vertical jump and put up 10 reps on the bench press at 225 pounds.
At 6-1, 200 pounds, he’s an intriguing prospect. Bryan played very well as a freshman and sophomore. A broken ankle hampered his junior season and then he missed significant time last year with a hamstring injury. He’s gaining some traction and more workouts are scheduled.
Bryan, who already graduated from Baylor, did not attend the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, so teams interested in him may want to bring him in for an official visit in order to get a full medical evaluation.
