Redskins cut suspended DL Brandon Moore

The Washington Redskins have released suspended defensive end Brandon Moore.

Moore was recently suspended for four games without pay for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy.

The Redskins were awarded Moore off waivers after the Kansas City Chiefs released him.

Moore played collegiately at the University of Texas, going undrafted last year.

He has previous stints with the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers practice squads.
