The Arizona Cardinals are expected to be without wide receiver Anquan Boldin for Saturday’s divisional round playoff game at New Orleans, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The team, according to the report, has not abandoned hope yet. Boldin was held out of practice on Thursday and is dealing with knee and ankle injuries. The knee injury is reported to be the more troublesome of the two.

Boldin could be ready to go should the Cardinals win to advance to the NFC Championship Game next week against Dallas or Minnesota.

The good thing for the Cardinals is that they have proven they have have success without Boldin in the postseason, this year and last. The development of Steve Breaston and more recently Early Doucet gives them some other options.

Stay tuned.

Kurt Warner is a very classy person. I don't think he will do the "YoYo" retirement stuff that #4 on the Vikes has done in over the past years. I believe he has more class than that.
