Seattle Seahawks head coach Jim Mora, Jr. has been fired, according to a tweet from Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com.
Mora lasted just one year as the Seahawks head coach, a season in which the team went 5-11 and finished third in the NFC West.
According to Glazer, the Seahawks have “already called for permission to interview other assistants. Likely candidates include Leslie Frazier [the defensive coordinator of the Vikings] among others.”
