Robert Meacham rejoins Saints

The New Orleans Saints brought back wide receiver Robert Meachem following his failed stint with the San Diego Chargers.

He signed a one-year contract to rejoin the Saints.

Meachem spent last season with the San Diego Chargers, who cut him after he caught 14 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns during a disappointing stint that wound up costing them $5 million in guaranteed money just to get rid of him.

A former Saints first-round draft pick, Meacham has 155 career receptions for 2,476 yards and 25 touchdowns.

During his first New Orleans stint, Meacham posted 141 receptions for 2,269 yards with 23 touchdowns.
