Seahawks add Stokey, 2 former Packers linemen

The Seattle Seahawks shuffled the roster today as veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley was brought in along with a pair of offensive linemen with ties to the Green Bay Packers, where general manager John Schneider was previously.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates knows Stokley from the time they spent in Denver together. The timing of the move could be related to a shoulder injury that has Mike Williams questionable this week, according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times.

Also brought in were offensive tackle Breno Giacomini, signed off the Packers’ practice squad, and Allen Barbre, a free agent who was last in Green Bay. To make room, Seattle released running back Quinton Ganther and offensive linemen Mike Gibson and Mansfield Wrotto.
