Veteran defensive end Andre Carter visited the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league source.

Carter, 34, has 517 career tackles, 80.5 sacks and 18 forced fumbles.

He had 19 tackles in 2012 with 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

Carter had four tackles and two sacks in nine games last season for the Patriots.

In 2011, Carter had 10 sacks and two forced fumbles with the Patriots.
