Source: Cardinals work out Mark Anderson

The Arizona Cardinals had veteran pass rusher Mark Anderson in for a visit, according to a league source.

Anderson has previous stints with the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans and has 36 1/2 career sacks and seven forced fumbles, including a dozen sacks as a rookie in Chicago and 10 sacks in 2011 in New England.

The Cardinals placed linebackers Sam Acho and Lorenzo Alexander on injured reserve and have promoted Dontay Moch from the practice squad to the active roster.

The Cardinals also brought in linebacker Vic So'oto and defensive end Markus White.
