The Houston Texans worked out former Oakland Raiders outside linebacker Eric Harper when they also auditioned outside linebackers Quentin Groves and Lawrence Sidbury, according to a source.
Groves and Sidbury are being signed by the Texans.
Harper was on the Raiders' practice squad last season.
He was signed to a reserve-future deal.
However, the Raiders cut him following the NFL draft.
Harper played collegiately at Grambling and Louisiana Tech.
