Steelers sign tight end Michael Palmer

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed tight end Michael Palmer to a one-year contract.

Palmer caught one pass for eight yards last season.

For his career, Palmer has 22 catches for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

The 6-foot-5, 252-pounder played for the Atlanta Falcons for three seasons prior to joining the Steelers last year.

Palmer played collegiately at Clemson.
