The Law Firm is scheduled to visit Cincinnati
It’s only fitting that a team like the Bengals—who over the years have signed so many players with mile-long rap sheets—would be interested in meeting with a player nicknamed “The Law Firm.”
Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that free agent running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is scheduled to visit the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals certainly have a need at the running back position as Cedric Benson will turn 30-years-old in December an averaged just 3.9 yards per carry in 2011.
Green-Ellis may not be a flashy name, but the four-year veteran is just two seasons removed from a 2010 campaign that featured 1,008 rushing yards (4.4 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns. In addition, the 26-year-old from Mississippi has only 510 career carries under his belt.
Perhaps Green-Ellis could even take on a second job in Cincinnati as in-house counsel for the rest of the Bengals roster.
