Concern expressed about Adam Muema

Former San Diego State running back Adam Muema's abrupt departure from the scouting combine created headlines when he cited religious reasons for why he left.

As of Tuesday, San Diego State coaches and those close to him don't know where Muema is and how's he doing, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

“I have no idea where is,” a person close to Muema said. “(San Diego State coaches) have been trying to track him down, too. Every time they do, his phone is off. ... It's a frustrating deal.”

Added Muema's high school coach, Lou Farrar: "It's a big mystery. At this point, we just hope he's safe. As long as he's safe. That's all that really matters.”
