The Dallas Cowboys activated rookie defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence to the active roster Saturday.
They cut defensive end Lavar Edwards.
Lawrence is the Cowboys' second-round draft pick.
At Boise State, Lawrence had 20 sacks in two seasons.
