The New York Giants had a complete practice Wednesday, the first time that has happened all season.
Coach Tom Coughlin joked before practice, “I hope we have enough uniforms for these guys,” according to the New York Daily News.
There were 53 players present for practice and one of two players on the physically unable to perform list also got into some action. What’s that mean? Primarily, it signals the Giants are getting healthy up front on defense where ends Osi Umenyiora (knee) and Justin Tuck (neck) have been sidelined. It also means running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) and linebacker Michael Boley (knee) are shaping up.
The Giants have still been beat up more than most teams. They have eight players on injured reserve.
