Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, per TitanInsider.com.
Greene's right knee buckled under him when he was tackled on a carry in the season opener at Pittsburgh. He was inactive for the Titans' loss Sunday in Houston.
While Greene is out, Jackie Battle will step into the No. 2 running back role behind Chris Johnson.
Tennessee signed Greene to a three-year, $10 million contract in the off-season.
