Steelers' Wilson begins physical rehab

The Pittsburgh Steelers issued a statement updating the condition of running backs coach Kirby Wilson, who suffered burns over 45 percent of his body the week of the Steelers' AFC Divisional Playoff loss to the Denver Broncos.

Wilson was burned during a house fire and remains hospitalized in Pittsburgh as he begins the physical rehab portion of the recovery process.

"Mr. Wilson remains in serious condition in the Trauma Burn Center at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh. His status is stable, and he has started his physical rehabilitation. The Wilson family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support," the statement read.

Our prayers and thoughts continue to be with Wilson as well.
