Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Maurice Purify has been suspended without pay for one game for a violation of the NFL personal conduct policy, according to the league.
Fined an additional game check in addition to the first game of the regular season, Purify's punishment was prompted by a May 4 arrest on one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
At Nebraska, Purify faced charges of driving under the influence and an assault with resisting arrest case.
The suspension is going to be appealed.
