According to league sources, about a dozen NFL teams have expressed interest or inquired about Cleveland Browns veteran free agent safety T.J. Ward.
Ward is expected to be one of the most heavily pursued free agents when the NFL signing period launches Tuesday afternoon.
Ward earned Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors last season when he recorded 123 tackles along with 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, one forced fumble and 10 pass deflections.
Ward, 27, is a 2010 second-round draft pick from Oregon.
