Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson is fed up, and he's not going to take it anymore.

Well, at least he's not going to keep his frustration to himself.

Johnson vented to Kansas City reporters today, getting it off his chest how mad he is that he's not starting and was the subject of trade rumors prior to the NFL deadline Tuesday.

"It sucks," Johnson said. "It kind of sucks to not be starting and not be playing like I should. I should be out there playing. I should be out there starting. I should be out there helping this team win."

Johnson said he has taken his complaints to coach Todd Haley, too.

"Coach knows I want to play," he said. "He knows I disagree with not playing. He knows that."

And Johnson said he avoided watching television because of the trade talks, calling the possibility of being moved to another team as "a possibility that something was going on."

Sounds like someone needs a timeout.

That's pretty funny. Problem is last year he was out there starting and playing with the team to a 2-14 season. I actually like DJ as a player and don't blame him for the whole team's failures last season but the comments are kind of funny when taken in that context. He does get an 'E' for enthusasm though.

On the other hand, I am somehow inspired to run out and purchase a Twisted Sister album. We're not gonna take it! No! We're not gonna take it....

When I heard the Eagles were going to make a trade before the deadline, I hoped for an offensive lineman. However, that just doesn't happen in the middle of the season so I expected a linebacker after our awful coverage of TE's thus far into the season. It was when I started putting two and two together that I hoped and prayed the Eagles would trade for Johnson and move him to SAM. Hopefully, his discontent continues and his talent is finally uncovered in a defense that knows how to utilize his skills.

To paraphrase Dick Vermeil: "He needs to take off his diaper"

That is not exactly what he said. I heard his comments on tape and he said he did not want to be traded.

I actually have to agree with Derrick, Last year wasn't his fault. When he has been in this year, he's made some big plays. I've been supprised he hasn't played more. I'd be mad too.

This is how i feel about DJ COMMENTS ABOUT BEING NOT ABLE TO PLAY! I feel that he has put in the work to be a starter . An why do i feel like this is because he shows it on the feild and he is like a smung when any of the coaching staff ask him to perform any action on the feild .So i say give him his starting job back and let him and MV TAKE CONTROL ON THE DEFENSE

Well, we do have a really good quarterback. I say..Our defence hasnt looked this good since DT died. Im with whatever they think is best... We need a line, one more star reciever...Why oh why didnt we get crabtree... maybe a good RB to create some competition like LJ had back in the day, and we need better Safetys " Next year we will be 10-6
