Pat the Patriot is in trouble with the law.
One of the men who portrays the New England Patriots' mascot was arrested by Rhode Island State Police for attempting to pay for sex with a prostitute
According to NBC 10, one of the johns was Robert Sormanti, 47, of Warwick.
“The Pat Patriot mascot costume is worn by multiple people, each of whom are held responsible and accountable for their action," the team said in a statement. "The individual in question has been suspended. The mascot responsibilities will continue to be fulfilled by others."
